Its the beginning of my one week leave and my sister, Sara is in town. She took the coach here which arrived in Singapore about 7.30pm. Jay and I picked her up and headed straight for dinner. I had planned to take her to Marche at Suntec, since the better one, which wa at Heeren was close. But by the time we reached Marche it was packed and the queue was super long. So we decided to head to NYDC instead. There was also a queue there but not as long as the one at  Marche… and then unfortunately some waitress at NYDC got onto Jay’s nerves and hence made him cranky.  I was also starting to get agitated with him as I was thinking why get so worked up over some silly waitress and ruin everybody’s dinner??

Anyway this is what we ordered. Jay took the boney dog and a Earl Grey Vannila cooler, Sara took the ‘when pigs fly’ pasta and i took the 3 Amigos pizza. Well overall the food wasn’t fantastic… I was kinda disappointed with the pizza, the pasta came with too much bell peppers and the boney dog taste was covered with to much dressing and the Earl Grey cooler was all creamy but tasteless. The lasagna and mushroom pizza that me and Jay tried previously was much better.

Now we come to the highlight of the night…. dessert… We ordered their famous mudpie… the ‘Grandma Gone Nuts’ mudpies. Its basically Macadamian Nut Ice Cream on top of oreo crust and covered with almond flakes, drizzled with chocolate and caramel fudge… gawd….it was orgasmic… It was too sweet nor was it to filling…. it was just perfect…. all the ingredients just compliments each other so well.

I think me and Sara were enjoying our dessert to much that these 2 guys seated beside us was checking out our expressions…

hahaha…. what can I say …girls and desserts..the perfect combo….

Its june and the time for me to treat my housemates to dinner has come…. I was ‘google-ling’ out for some french restuarants in singapore cause i love french dining… but i came across something evn more special…its his place AIWO in Raffles Centre. Its a health food restaurants tht serves dishes that are all cooked in the healthiest manner. Ok… I’ve got my mind set on checking AIWO out.

So sms-ed my 2 housemates informing them about the dinner plans just before my I went for my turnaround flight. Alas….went I came back I was dead tired and apparently gwen did not received my sms. She was already out tht time and will only be back at 8.30pm. So the plan was still on… All of us only managed to get ready by 9pm…sigh we always have a habit of going to places late.

In the end we reached Raffles around 9.40pm and went straight to AIWO. To my great disappointment they were already closing at that time….. SIGH!!!! So we had no choice but to go for alternatives, luckily we manage to find another place to go to, which is Mennoti also at Raffles Centre.

The place was quite good actually, their menu was quite extensive and the price was reasonable. Plus they had 50% discount for their pastries after 10pm. We ordered 1 dinner set in which comprises a starter, main course, pastry/gelato and coffee/tea for $29.90. We ordered to Olive and Anchovies Bruschetta(tasted kinda weird), Spinach Crab Soup(excellent), Atlantic Sole( so-so) ,Ceasar Salad ( common ), Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and Spinach Cream ( Good ), Sponge Custard soaked in Rum ( too much Rum ) and Chocolate Souffle with Hazelnut Gelato ( heavenly….).

We all were pretty full by the end of the meal… I was actually hoping that all 3 of us would have an extensive gossip session that we haven’t had for quite sometime. Gwen and Kim had a lot to talk about which was good…but I was stoning away as I was very very tired and wasn’t feeling too well that night.

We all headed back home around 12am… I was feeling super sick by then… Halfway showering I felt vommity and ended up puking all over my bathroom as I couldn’t make it in time to the toilet bowl…. sigh.. more cleaning up to do…

After bathing I went outside my room and saw gwen in kim’s room so I joined them and we were all looking through Kim’s photos on her laptop… All 3 of us were sitting on the bed and I just felt so close to them again…. I really miss spending time with them like that….we chatted for awhile till Darren came then we call it a night. Darren wished me Happy Birthday in advance and he was whispering… I dunno why but i thought that was really sweet of him.

Anyway I’m looking forward to the next dinner outing with my 2 dear housemates again…..

Butterfactory…I always wanted to check tht place out…heard a lot of good reviews from quite a number of ppl….rnb music n better crowd… Ok..set.. that will be where we girls are going to celebrate our completion of our jc99 course…

We were suppose to rendezvous at 10.30pm at butterfactory..but as usual all of us were late… Voon was the earliest one there… but she couldn’t find the place. I went and pick nicole up…and alas even the cab driver does not know exactly where butterfactory was…. we then pick up poor Voon first as she was wandering around muhammad sultan all alone n lost…. I called Serena like a million times trying to find butterfactory… in the end we bump into this group of youngsters and ask them for directions… coincidentally they were going to the same place as us..so we tagged along with them till we reach butterfactory.

It was ladies night there on Thursday. As the 3 of us entered first we were very disappointed by the crowd… it was going very slow and dull… the music was ok…but the atmosphere wasn’t doing it right for us…. nicole ordered 2 jugs of beer to drink(it was 1 for 1 so we got 4 jugs) just to kill time while waiting for the rest as we intend to go elsewhere after the drinks..but darn it i don’t drink beer…. Nicole, Von and I started to play 5-10 and ended up finishing the beers and then Serena came. We were later flooded y more jugs of beer by this group of gentlements seated not too far from us… we just left it on the table as we were leaving to MOS to meet Mel there.

We met Mel at MOS and ask her to check out the crowd inside MOS while we wait outside…. Nicole at this time was urging all of us to go Karaoke instead… But we all decide to head to Velvet first then to Karaoke…

Crew night at Velvet, and lesbian n butch night at Zouk…hhmm… we head to Velvet for drinks first… And as soon as i got into Velvet I bump into Benson again…gosh i see him there almost everytime i go to velvet/zouk. Travers was there to…. and to add in irony, both of them were actually Serena’s schoolmate…(gosh is Singapore small or what)… Anyway all of us bought a round of drinks except Voon coz she treated us to Swenson the other day. So first of was Serena, she bought all of us Lychee Martini ( My fav in velvet ). Following was Malibu Pineapple from Mel, then Nicole bought a Flaming Lambo… and i bought sambucas, later I bought another jug of vodka crystals. After we all finish up we proceeded to Zouk for soe dancing… Benson n Travers came along too…. After dancing for like 15mins everybody had to go for pee break… and after tht we girls went back to velvet to get more drinks. Serena, Mel and I definately needed more booze… Nicole was super red and Voon was a goner edi…. When we went back to Velvet, Serena ordered a rounds of AK47 shots…but i think the barmaid got it wrong coz we all got cocktail AK47 instead of shots…none-the-less it taste absolutely HORRIBLE…i took one sip and i was done with it…. but we all din wanna waste the drink so we all started to play 5-10 or in this case 5-25… as we played Benson and Travers came back from Zouk in joined in… then another 2 ang-mohs was observing us and wanted to join in to…oh and benson also introduce Alex n Adrian to us and they to join it the game…. so in the end it became a 5-55 game, so you can imagine how slow to was to go a full round with 11 ppl in the game. We all sabo the ang-mohs to drink most of it…. hahahaha

As Velvet closed at 3am… we all proceeded to Karaoke at party world in orchard. Voon did not join us as she was totally intoxicated…Nicole also went missing somemore and it was her idea to go karaoke…sigh… I followed Benson’s car along with Travers, Serena drove Mel n the 2 ang-mohs there… I dunno how Alex n Adrian got there. As soon as i sat down in Benson’s car the booze effect was starting to work on me… Well too late to back out now….

We all ended up in party world in one piece anyway, then started to sing, sing, sing…. mostly Serena was singing all the chinese songs…while i only sang when they play english songs. I was halfway a goner edi when i sang….so i apologise for the noise pollution i inflicted on everyone in the room…hahahhaha…. after tht i strated to chit chat with e ang-mohs as Serena was bz singing with Travers, Benson was chatting with Alex and Mel with Adrian… sigh so i had no choice but to talk to the ang-mohs then…. I found out tht bith of them actually met each other only today…they were staying at e same hotel n decided to discover singapore together. Neil was a history and P.E teacher from Ireland and he was telling me about a very popular sports in Ireland called ‘Hurling’..hmmm will hv to google tht. Neil was very nice indeed. Oscar was columbian but residing in Melbourne and he was saying tht Colombia is the best place to scuba…then i remember my baby telling me about Manado in Indonesia, and i told Oscar about it…. well I din like oscar at all coz he was trying on me… the fucker even tried to kiss me. Luckily Benson and my other frens saved me from his roving hands… we all left party world at 6am when they were closing. Me, Mel and Alex shared a cab home. Alex stayed in Marine Parade area.. while Mel at simpang bedok… Mel was so nice to drop me off first.

I was so dead tired…but totally enjoyed myself despite the hangover i got the next day when I woke up at 5pm. Totally worth it…I always enjoy going out with my girls…. you girls are the BEST.. i love you all !!!
